Vincerò Academy Scholarships!
We are thrilled to announce a new partnership with Vincerò Academy on its inaugural season, to offer scholarships for selected singers!
Vincerò Academy is the ultimate online mentorship platform connecting young singers from all over the world with the greatest opera stars of our time.

Vincerò’s carefully curated role-study programs will provide students across the globe an elite education online with the world’s most admired opera figures. Students will receive a Certificate upon completion of any one program, and an Artist Diploma upon completion of any three programs, giving them a powerful addition to their résumé.
After talking with founder Abdiel Vázquez, we share the most important information you need to know to apply for these scholarships:
1/ What is Vincerò Academy’s mission?
We want to connect young singers from all over the world to the greatest opera stars of our time, focusing on what we think matters the most: the study of full operas with their best interpreters.
2/ What does this inaugural season include?
We are including three staples of the repertoire: Carmen, Don Giovanni, and La Traviata. Each program is 3-months long and has its own curriculum of Group Classes, Masterclasses, Workshops, and Individual Music and Language Coachings. Participants in any of the three programs will also have access to a large number of other seminars and masterclasses to round-up their education.
3/ Is there a possibility for live performances in the future?
Yes! Even though this is mostly an educational program, we are partnering with other institutions in the US, Mexico, and Europe to provide performance opportunities to select students. Namely, one cast per opera will be selected via audition.
4/ Who is a part of the Faculty & Team?
Vincerò’s Faculty is comprised of internationally acclaimed artists whose work has been praised on the stages of The Metropolitan Opera, Teatro alla Scala, Covent Garden, Wiener Staatsoper, Bayerische Staatsoper, Berliner Philharmoniker, Bolshoi Theater, Teatro Colón, Palacio de Bellas Artes, and many, many others. Each Faculty member performs a unique mentorship role tailored to their own artistic goals for the Academy. The singers are Ailyn Pérez, Brian Jagde, Carlos Conde, David Lomelí, Isabel Leonard, Javier Camarena, Jennifer Rowley, Kirsten Chambers, Kristine Opolais, Lucas Meachem, Luis Ledesma, and Mignon Dunn. Music coaches are Abdiel Vázquez, Anthony Manoli, Brian Wagorn, Danielle Orlando, Howard Watkins, Irina Meachem, and Jorge Parodi. Language coaches are Elsa Querón, Stefano Baldasseroni, and Stefano de Peppo. The Artistic Board is comprised of Abdiel Vázquez, Ailyn Pérez, David Lomelí, and maestro Enrique Diemecke, Artistic Director of Teatro Colón in Buenos Aires.
5/ How can singers apply & participate for the 360° of Opera scholarships?
Scholarship Winners will be selected by merit by the Vincerò Academy Artistic Team, based on auditions. These are the steps to follow, to be considered for these scholarships:
1. Follow @vinceroacademy and @360ofopera on Instagram and Facebook and tag two friends in any of their posts.
2. Submit your application on Vincerò’s website and write "360 of Opera" AND your Instagram handle in the "CODE" section at the bottom.
Other guidelines:
- If you have already applied and would like to be considered for these scholarships, please send Vincerò Academy an email with this code.
- The 360° of Opera Scholarships are not cumulative with any Financial Aid you may receive, but you can apply for both.
- For Primary Roles A, there will be ONE $1,000 scholarship and TWO $500 scholarships PER OPERA.
- For Primary Roles B, there will be ONE $500 scholarship and TWO $250 scholarships PER OPERA.
- For Secondary Roles, there will be TEN $100 scholarships for any of the operas.
- A total of $10,000 in scholarships!!!
